Subscription management

Subscription is a very useful function in C-Gator. You can subscribe to any library, document-resource, and multiple property. To “subscribe” means to define what updates of chosen object you are interested in (deleting, adding, editing), and to receive notifications by e-mail (SMS, ICQ, etc.) whenever these changes occur. C-Gator has internal messages component. You can adjust such reporting using this component. This capability sets users free from the constant browsing the site for news search. You may mind your own affairs; news will “find” themselves.

Scheduled work is another important peculiarity of subscriptions. You can forward any number of notifications and even packs of them by customizing the schedule. For example, a news site will be able to forward news for a few hours or days in one mail.

Mail configuration is written in XML format.
